About this Mercedes-Benz SL Series

JUST ARRIVED AT OUR SHOWROOMS - ONLY 1 PREVIOUS OWNER & 64K MILES IN UNBELIEVABLE CONDITION THROUGHOUT

The Mercedes-Benz 380SL (R107 series) was introduced in March 1980 and utilising the same two-door monocoque bodyshell equipped with all-round coil-sprung independent suspension - wishbone front / semi-trailing arm rear, Power Assisted Steering and four-wheel Disc Brakes as its predecessors.

The newcomer however boasted an enlarged 3,839cc SOHC V8 Engine and improved Four-speed automatic transmission and it was credited with developing some 204bhp and 232lbft of torque and capable of 0-60mph in 9.1 seconds and a top speed of 127mph. 

This fabulous Mercedes-Benz 380SL was first registered on 11th April 1985 and is genuinely like a new car, and has only had one previous owner who were the supplying Mercedes-Benz dealer - Lancaster's of Ipswich and registered in their name and was a company car for their Managing Director. He kept the car for 2 years before it was sold by Lancaster's to the current owners in May 1987 and theyhave owned it ever since. It has now covered a genuine and low 64,382 miles from new and drives superbly.

Being a Mercedes demonstrator, it was fully loaded with every extra available, including Leather trim, Air Conditioning, Heated Seats, Rear Child Seats, Cruise Control and Alloy Wheels. In addition, its original Black Mohair Soft Top is like new, as is the factory Hard Top and although we have had well over a hundred 107 series SL's over the years, I don't think we have ever had one like this before!

Upon sale, the car will given a pre-sales service and a new MOT and come with a 6 Month Warranty which can be extended and upgraded at additional cost if required.
