According to the Mercedes Benz Datacard, this Mercedes 280SL Pagoda Sports - Chassis No: 11304422010168 and was built on 22nd May 1969 and was first registered here in Southsea, England on 1st August 1969.

It is finished in its original colour combination of Signal Red with a Black leather interior, Black Mohair Soft Top and its body coloured Hard Top, a rebuilt 2778cc 6 cylinder Fuel injected Engine, 4 Speed Automatic Transmission, Power Assisted Steering and sitting on its original 14" Steel Wheels with full-face Mercedes Benz Wheel Trims.

This car is in truly exceptional condition throughout and comes with a big plastic box containing 3 ring binders full of paperwork which documents its full Service History from new. The files all contain all of its original documents and invoices, all Books & Manuals including its original Mercedes plastic wallet, lots of magazine articles, a Mercedes Benz Club Concours award, service and repair invoices from many specialists, a full MOT History, various restoration documentation and ownership history.
