The BMW Z3 E36 series was first introduced in 1995 and was famously catapulted to huge fame by the James Bond film GoldenEye.

Introduced in October 2000, for the 2001 model year, the new BMW Z3 2.2i replaced the previous model with a 2.0-litre engine and was powered by the naturally aspirated and smooth 2.2 litre 'M54' straight-six engine (M54B22) producing 170 bhp and 155 lb-ft of torque and delivers a top speed of 139 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 7.6 seconds. Known for its silky exhaust note and reliable performance, it features 'wide-body' rear wheel arches and dual exhaust pipes.

This BMW Z3 (E36) 2.2i Roadster was supplied new by BMW in Dublin and collected by its first owner from Berkshire and registered on 14th November 2001.

It is finished in the lovely Atlanta Blue Metallic with a Black Z-Tex imitation Leather upholstery, Sports Steering Wheel, Black Mohair folding soft top and Hood Cover, electric seats, electric windows, electric mirrors, 2.2i Litre 6-Cylinder Engine, Five Speed Manual Gearbox, Power Steering, Vented Disc Brakes, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and 16" five spoke Alloy Wheels.

This Roadster has been with its current owner since 2020 and is a well-maintained modern classic which has now covered 102,602 Miles from new and comes with a comprehensive service history with 13 entries recorded in the service book, and its most recent maintenance over the last 3 years includes: new Track rods, Suspension and steering components, including new Suspension Arms, new Brake Discs, Pads and Calipers, a new Alternator and a new Brake Master Cylinder.

It has an extensive documentation pack, including maintenance invoices, an RAC Vehicle History Check, HPI Check & Certificate, MOT history from 2006–2026, current MOT certificate until May 2027, original handbook, drivers manual, and period Z3 Owners Club magazines.
