The first owner, Dr. J. Rothenberg of Oxfordshire, kept the car until 1992 when it was sold to Mrs. Linda Caster Higgins, who cherished it for the next 16 years. During her ownership, the car was taken to the family’s holiday home in Majorca, where it remained from 2003 to 2008 before returning to the UK. It changed hands twice briefly before being purchased by the current family owner in August 2010, in whose care it has remained ever since.

Today, the odometer shows a genuine and fully verified 73,169 miles, supported by a meticulous history file. Every invoice, MOT, and service record is carefully filed in date order — including main dealer Mercedes-Benz servicing from 1992–2008 and subsequent maintenance by respected Mercedes specialists. It also retains its original handbooks, service book (fully stamped), ownership records, and even past tax discs and MOT certificates — clear evidence of a car that has been cherished, maintained, and wanted for nothing.
