About this Alfa Romeo Spider
ARRIVING W/C 8th June 2026
The Series 2 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce (produced from 1971 to 1977) is widely regarded by collectors as a sweet spot in the 28-year production run of Alfa's iconic 105/115-series roadster. Designed and manufactured by Pininfarina, the Series 2 introduced the sharply cut "Kamm tail" (Coda Tronca), which improved vehicle aerodynamics and replaced the rounded "Duetto" tail of the original 1960's models.
Factory-built RHD Spiders are incredibly rare because Alfa Romeo stopped building them at the factory in 1977 due to high production costs for small markets like the UK, Australia and South Africa. Only 3,095 factory RHD models (Tipo 115.22) were ever built between 1971 and 1977 and approximately 500 in 1973.
This original UK supplied RHD Series 2 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce (Kammtail) - was first registered in London on 21st November 1973 + Current owner since 2007 - Recent restoration by an Alfa Romeo specialist including new panels and a bare metal repaint, new Black Mohair Soft Top, a refurbished interior and 14" Melber Major Alloy Wheels.
