TRIBUTE 356 PORSCHE SPEEDSTER OUTLAW BY VINTAGE SPEEDSTER IN CALIFORNIA

VERY RARE OUTLAW SPECIFICATION WITH a NEW 1776cc TWIN CARB ENGINE, FRONT DISC BRAKES, FREEWAY FLYER TRANSMISSION, CUSTOM MADE CSP EVO EXHAUST FROM THE USA

Imported from California in 2015, this car was Factory built by Vintage Motorcars in Los Angeles, California who are the No1 builder of these cars in the USA, and their quality and finish is second to none. https://www.vintagemotorcarsinc.com/ They use a custom built, jig welded 2″x 4″ 11 gauge steel frame and this rigid structure retains the original VW floorpan designed by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche and integrates the largest frame possible. In addition the steering is slightly offset just like in the originals.

The car was imported to the UK from California in 2015 and UK registered and the mileage covered when it arrived was only just over 3,000 miles since it was built. The current owner purchased the car in July 2017 with 4,800 miles, but unfortunately the engine developed a problem and a new 1776cc engine was fitted in 2018. Since then, the car has covered a further 6,000 miles and 13,600 since it was built by Vintage Speedsters. It has also had a CSP EVO complete stainless steel exhaust system fitted and was last serviced by Beetlelink in Farnham in October 2024.

While the original 356 Speedsters are very rare to find, these Vintage Speedsters are also rare with only a little over 3000 built. Even avid Porsche enthusiasts have a difficult time telling these from the real ones. Making this one even more unique is that it was built with the Outlaw Styling which was a race influenced look on these giving them a more aggressive appearance.

Body and paint are truly near flawless. The Khaki Olive is a truly a authentic Porsche colour combo with Blood Red interior dash on this Speedster and suits the car perfectly. The Outlaw look eliminates front and rear bumpers as well as the chrome side body trim. Vented engine bay lid, wing mounted race mould side view mirrors, yellow glass race headlamps, front fog lights and racing decals help finish this stunning look.. You will be very impressed by the fit and finish with the doors, open and shut with a solid feel and body panel gaps are in great alignment.

The Speedster comes with a full soft top and matching Drop-in-side windows, tonneau cover, Drop-in-side driving windows for when the roof is down, Porsche chrome hub-caps, original 1960’s Lietz rear chrome luggage rack and it is simply wonderful to drive.
