About this Porsche 911

Introduced in 2004, The 997 represented a significant relaunch of the 911 that included a major body restyling and interior update, while using much of the rolling chassis of the outgoing 996. The 997 has all the technological improvements of its 996-series predecessor but with a lighter / stiffer body-shell, better suspension/brakes and a superior heating, ventilation and air conditioning system plus the more classical styling.

Available in Carrera or Carrera S guises when launched, the latter boasted a more powerful 3.8 litre Boxer engine - rated at 350 bhp/295 lbs ft of Torque, a Sports Exhaust, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and 19-inch Alloy Wheels as standard. Reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds and 182mph, it soon became a driver's favourite. Better built and better looking than a 996 and smaller and more agile than a 991 or the current 992, fine examples of 997's are becoming increasingly collectible.

This stunning Porsche 911 (997) Carrera 2S Coupe was supplied new by the Porsche Centre in Guildford and was delivered to its first owner on the 21st June 2005 and the total cost of the car including the factory fitted options was £73,940.67 before on the road costs.

It is finished in the beautiful and quite rare Seal Grey Metallic with a full Black leather interior with Heated Sports Seats and rear child Seats, Black Carpets with Porsche branded foot-mats, Silver coloured Instrument dials and Stopwatch, Tiptronic S Multi-function Steering Wheel, Air Conditioning/Climate Control, Rear Window Wiper, Tinted Windscreen with top tint, Stainless Steel Kick plates with Porsche branding, Cruise Control, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), Traction Control, Electric Seats, Windows and Mirrors, Tracker, a new Pioneer SPH-DA230DAB Apple Play/Android Auto DAB with DAB Aerial, 3824cc Flat Six Engine, 5 Speed Tiptronic Gearbox with steering wheel controls and 19" Sport Classic Fuch's Alloy Wheels with a set of Pirelli PZero N2 tyres which were fitted in 2019 and covered 8,000 miles.

Having covered just 80,425 miles from new and MOT'd until 28th January 2024, this car is in exceptional condition throughout with unmarked paintwork and alloy wheels plus a beautiful interior and it comes with a Full Service History from new with ring binder full of receipts/invoices, MOT Certificates, Ownership history and its original Porsche Leather Wallet with all books and manuals and two keys. It has a fully stamped service book displaying ten entries (all from main dealers and specialists) and with the last major service was carried out by Addison Autotech Porsche specialists in November 2021 @ 76,114 miles which also included a new Alternator and Brake Fluid change. Since then, it has also had a new Battery, a new Water Pump and Poly Belt fitted in January 2022. It is also clear on all HPi registers and the National Mileage Register.

Overall, this is a superb example of a 997 Carrera S with a very desirable specification and great service history and it is a credit to its previous owners. The personal number plate 88 EJX is available by negotiation + it has a brand new car cover included.
