The Porsche 993 Targa was introduced to the model line up for the 1996 model year and the retractable glass roof which slides underneath the rear window, creates an open-air motoring experience. Built on the same reinforced chassis as the 993 convertible, weight was increased from the Coupe and was therefore too heavy for racing, but if you like the best of both Convertibles and Coupes, then the Porsche 993 Targa should be given high consideration.

Driver safety features like ABS brakes and Air-Bags were also introduced on the 993 years ahead of its competitors and the limited numbers - only 3,646 RHD of all variants were built between 1995 and 1998 and the fact that this was the last 'Air-Cooled' Porsche to be produced is another reason why these cars are now so highly valued and collectible.

This beautiful Porsche 911 (993) Carrera 2 Targa is one of the very last run of the 333 RHD Manual Targa's built in total and it was supplied new by Porsche dealer Stratstone of Wilmslow and first registered on 16th February 1998.

It is finished in Artic Silver Metallic with a Blue Leather interior, Blue carpets, Air Conditioning, Driver and Passenger Air Bags, Electric 'Targa' Roof, Electric Windows and Mirrors, Electric rear Spoiler, Rear Windscreen Wiper, Electric Seats , 3596cc Vario-Ram Engine, 6 Speed Manual Gearbox and 17" Split-Rim Alloy Wheels.

The car has had 7 previous keepers from new with the current owner having purchased the car in 2016. It has now covered a very modest 78,969 miles from new with a Full Porsche main dealer and Porsche specialist Service History with 11 stamps in the service book and it comes with its original Porsche leather wallet with all books and manuals, ownership history, MOT history, lots of invoices for all works and servicing since new. 

The paint and bodywork on this car are exceptional and the interior is also in really nice condition and it drives beautifully with no known faults and was MOT'd in February 2022 at 78,952 miles with No Advisories.
