The Porsche 993 Targa was introduced to the model line up for the 1996 model year and the retractable glass roof which slides underneath the rear window, creates an open-air motoring experience. Built on the same reinforced chassis as the 993 convertible, weight was increased from the Coupe and was therefore too heavy for racing, but if you like the best of both Convertibles and Coupes, then the Porsche 993 Targa should be given high consideration as only 4,600 were built between 1995 and 1998.
Many driver safety features like ABS and AirBags were introduced on the 993 years ahead of its competitors and the limited numbers and the fact that this was the last 'Air-Cooled' Porsche to be produced is another reason why these cars are now so highly valued.

This beautiful Porsche 993 Targa - Chassis No: WP0ZZZ99ZTS380889 and Engine No: 63T04091 was supplied new by Porsche dealer AFN in Chiswick, London and first registered in Twickenham, London on 1st April 1996 with its current numberplate N505 HLW.

It is finished in Polar Silver with a Black Leather interior, 3,600cc 'Varioram' Engine, 6 Speed Manual Gearbox, Power Steering, ABS Brakes, electric seats, windows and mirrors, Pioneer DAB Stereo, front tinted Windscreen, rear windscreen wiper, Air Bags, Central Locking/Alarm and its original 16" Split Rim Alloy Wheels.

The car has now covered a genuine 81,930 miles from new and comes with a very comprehensive and Full Service history with a print out from Porsche, invoices, all MOT certificates plus a fully stamped (full) Service Book with 21 stamps from Porsche main dealers and Porsche specialists. The last works on the car were carried out by specialist No5 Garage in July 2021 @ 81,824 miles and this included new Cam cover gaskets and a complete overhaul of the Targa roof mechanism.

The car is showing 7 previous keepers from new with the current owner having purchased the car in 2010 when it had covered 65,000 miles. During his ownership, the car has been regularly serviced and maintained and there are invoices totalling £14,140 during his ownership.
The car really is in exceptional condition and drives beautifully and it is just having the split rim alloy wheels refurbished to finish it off!
