Introduced in 2004, The 997 represented a significant relaunch of the 911 that included a major body restyling and interior update, while using much of the rolling chassis of the outgoing 996. The 997 has all the technological improvements of its 996-series predecessor but with a lighter / stiffer body-shell, better suspension/brakes and a superior heating, ventilation and air conditioning system plus the more classical styling.

Available in Carrera or Carrera S guises when launched, the latter boasted a more powerful 3.8 litre Boxer engine - rated at 350 bhp/295 lbs ft of Torque, a Sports Exhaust, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and 19-inch Alloy Wheels as standard. Reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds and 182mph, it soon became a driver's favourite. Better built and better looking than a 996 and smaller and more agile than a 991 or the current 992, fine examples of 997's are becoming increasingly collectible.

This Porsche 911 (997) Carrera S 3.8 Coupe - VIN No: WP0ZZZ99Z7S725053 and Engine No: 68713975 was supplied new by the Porsche Centre in Guildford and was first registered to its first owner on 30th March 2007. It is finished in the beautiful Seal Grey Metallic with a Black Leather interior and has the 355bhp 3.8 Litre Flat 6 Fi Engine, a 6 Speed Manual Transmission, Air Conditioning, Heated Leather Seats, Red Brake Calipers and sitting on a set of 19'' Seal Grey Carrera Classic Alloy Wheels with a brand new set of Michelin Pilot Sport Tyres. It has a great specification and includes the following Porsche Optional Equipment: PCM navigation module, Bose sound system, Wheels painted in exterior colour, Park Assist, Seat heating, Rear wiper (with aero blade), Stainless steel tailpipes - chrome-plated.

This car has only had 4 previous owners and has now covered a genuine and very low 52,667 Miles from new with a Full Service History from Porsche in Guildford, Porsche Centre Wolverhampton and specialists Braunton Engineering in Devon, Cotswold Porsche and most recently a full service by RGA Porsche in Vauxhall, London in May 2025 @ 52,470 miles. 

The car drives beautifully and it really is a fantastic example in arguably one of the nicest colour schemes.

It is clear on all HPi Registers including the National Mileage Register and comes with 2 sets of Keys, its original Porsche Leather wallet with all books and manuals, lots of invoices, full specification sheets and MOT history.
