EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY

This MGB GT was first registered on 1st January 1969 and has an enormous history file with invoices for works and parts fitted over the years, but most recently the current owner, who purchased the car back in 2018, has spent a staggering £17,731.77 on the car with specialist Crown Classic Cars in Twickenham, Middlesex and a full list of all works and parts fitted are shown in the documents.

The majority of works carried out by them were mechanical and electrical and too much to list here, but it included a top end Engine overhaul, an exchange Overdrive Gearbox, a new Clutch and all ancillaries, all new Brakes and all ancillaries, all new suspension components, new Propshaft, new Stainless Exhaust, Aluminium radiator upgrade, Stainless Steel Petrol Tank, new wiring looms, dashboard, switches, wiper components, new heater, new Stove enamelled Wire Wheels with a new set of Tyres and much much more - the cost of parts alone come to just over £8,800 with the remainder being labour costs.

The paint/bodywork has not been recently restored and there are a few blemishes and the odd bubble in the paintwork here and there, but nothing drastic and it still presents well as does the interior which is pretty much original and it still has it original steering wheel. It was the owners intention to have the car repainted as well, but having already spent nearly £18,000 on the mechanics of the car, it was more important to him for it to be mechanically excellent and reliable for some intended European touring and we have to say that this car really does drive and handle beautifully.

Unfortunately, a change in his personal circumstances has meant the car has to be sold and sadly he has only driven 1,200 miles in the car since all of these works were completed, so this is a brilliant car for someone and it represents excellent value for money at this price considering the amount recently spent with Crown Classic Cars.

As an 'Historic Vehicle' it is of course Road Tax and MOT exempt and ULEZ exempt!

Upon sale, the car will receive a new MOT and it will come with a 6 months mechanical breakdown Parts & Labour Warranty which can be extended at additional cost if required.
