The Land Rover Series III 88-inch (short wheelbase) is an iconic, rugged 4x4 produced from 1971 to 1985. Known for its utilitarian aluminium bodywork, and exceptional off-road capability, it is highly practical utility vehicle and now a very sought after Classic!

First registered on 17th May 1973 this lovely Land Rover Series 3 SWB is a John Brown 4x4 refurbished HQ Special Edition and a 'one off'.

The Land Rover is finished in Tasman Blue with a deluxe Black Interior with high back Seats & head rests, rear Bench Seats, Sound Deadening with Deluxe Carpeting front and rear, cubby box & cupholders, seat belt bar with Inertia Reel Belts, Stereo & Speakers with Apple Car Play & Android Auto Touchscreen, AUX & Bluetooth & USB Charging, 12v Charging, New Black Canvas Hood, Black galvanised cappings, Eiger Grey front bumper, rear crossmember & grill, 2286cc Petrol Engine with a Weber Carburettor and Sports Filter, Reconditioned 4 Speed Gearbox, Free Wheeling Hubs, bonnet mounted Spare Wheel, Towbar with Electrics, Immobiliser, Wheel Arch Extenders & Lockable Fuel Cap, Eiger Grey Steel Wheels with a new set of Insa-Turbo Range 4x4 Tyres.

The car was originally restored in the late 1990's, but was the subject of a conversion by Land Rover specialist John Brown 4x4 in 2025.

It is in lovely condition throughout and with the 2286cc Petrol Engine and reconditioned 4 Speed Gearbox, it really is a delight to drive. It was purchased by the current local owner last year on completion of the works by John Brown, but due to a change in circumstances it is reluctantly being offered for sale through ourselves.

The car is clear on all HPi Registers and is of course classified as an 'Historic Vehicle' meaning it is Road Tax free, MOT exempt and ULEZ compliant.

Upon sale, the car will come with a new MOT, pre-sales service, a 6 Month Warranty and will be ready to drive away.
