About this Kawasaki Z900

The Kawasaki Z900 remains of the most revered Japanese motorcycles of the 1970's, a machine that helped define the superbike era with its potent inline-four engine and muscular styling. Commonly known as the KZ900 or KZ900-A4 in North America, it featured a 903cc air-cooled DOHC transverse inline-four engine delivering 81 horsepower and a top speed of 120 mph. 

This Classic superbike was built upon the legendary legacy of the original Kawasaki Z1, but introducing key refinements to the braking and electrical systems.

This stunning example was originally first registered new in North America in 1976 and was imported to the UK in 2005. The owner then decided to fully rebuild the bike in 2009 and commenced a fully photographed nut & bolt rebuild, and there is a photo album containing just over 100 photographs of the restoration which was finally completed in 2012. Since then however, it has hardly been ridden and has been kept in storage until now when the owner decided it was time to sell it!

The total mileage of the bike is a genuine 30,365 from new and it has covered 3,000 miles since the engine and bike was rebuilt.

NB: For those that may have noticed from the restoration photographs, the Petrol Tank has since been repainted and with new thinner Gold & Green coachlines.

This bike is in exceptional condition and rides beautifully and upon sale, it will be given a new MOT and pre-sales service and will come with a 3 Month Warranty.
