Mercedes-Benz 280 SL 1982 (X) Green Light
The Mercedes-Benz R107 was produced from 1971-1989 and was the second longest series ever produced by Mercedes Benz.
This magnificent and original low mileage example is one of the finest we have seen for some years and it is in absolutely stunning condition throughout.
It was supplied new by David J Sparshatt Ltd of Eastleigh, Hampshire to its first owner in Salisbury and was registered on 22nd April 1982.
It is finished in the lovely Thistle Green Metallic with Green check cloth & vinyl Seats including rear Child seats with belts, Green carpets, original Brown Mohair Soft Top, Body coloured Hard Top, Electric Windows and Passenger Door Mirror, original Stereo/cassette Player, Central Locking (3 Keys), 2.8 Litre S6 Fi 'unleaded' Engine, 4 Speed Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, front Fog Lamps and currently fitted with a set of refurbished 'Mexican Hat' Alloy wheels with new Tyres, although it does have its original set of Steel Wheels with painted wheel trims which will come with the car as well.
It has now covered only 35,000 miles from new and comes with a full and comprehensive Service History including all its original books and manuals, MOT Certificates from 1987 to date, a selection of old Tax Discs, Mercedes-Benz Club membership cards, original service book stamped throughout, MOT History check confirming mileage, HPI check and a file full of invoices.
The condition of the paintwork/bodywork is truly exceptional as is the interior of the car, inside the boot and in the Engine bay and it drives like a new car.
This 'time-warp' example really does need to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated.
