Fiat 500 L 1971 (K) Burgundy
DEPOSIT TAKEN - 24/09/205
According to Fiat's Heritage department, this lovely Fiat 500L was manufactured in Fiat's Mirafiori plant in Turin in December 1971 and then sent to Fiat in Spain where it was first registered in Almeria on 1st January 1972.
The 'L' or Lusso model was built between 1968 & 1972 and was the penultimate model in the 500 range with the main changes being a much modernised interior with greater comfort and style including a renewed dashboard. It had the standard 499cc 2 cylinder engine producing 18bhp, a 4 Speed gearbox and had a top speed of 59mph.
This 500L remained in Spain until it was imported to the UK by its Spanish owner last year and it was first registered in London on 1st November 2014 with the age related plate YOD 725K.
It is finished in its original and quite rare colour scheme of Burgundy metallic with a Black vinyl interior, new Black carpets, a black vinyl fold-back sun roof, original instrumentation with centre speedometer, a Pioneer Stereo/CD Player with rear parcel shelf mounted speakers, 499cc chrome bumpers with chrome nudge bars and its original Steel wheels with chrome hub caps.
We have carried out some paint rectification on the car and it now has excellent body/paintwork and is in lovely condition throughout. The recorded mileage is 117,000 Kms (72,000 miles) but with little previous history from Spain, we cannot confirm this as genuine. However, it is mechanically excellent and really is a lovely car to drive. An excellent example of this iconic car.
Upon sale, it will come fully serviced with a new 12 month MOT and our own 6 months extendible Mechanical Warranty. As an Historic Vehicle, it is of course Road Tax exempt!
