Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano 2006 (Private plate) Red
Styled by Pininfarina the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in February 2006. It was designed with several specific objectives in mind: to increase driving pleasure, to guarantee performance (courtesy of technology transfers from the F1 single-seaters) and to ensure comfort, ergonomics and safety. The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed in excess of 330 km/h. The car takes its name from the Fiorano circuit Ferrari uses to hone the performance of its track and road cars. ‘GTB’ stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta, after the most famous Ferrari Berlinettas ever built, and ’599′ is the displacement of the V12 engine divided by 10.
The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano presented a dazzling set of numbers which few people expected including a huge 612 bhp from its 6.0 litre Engine making it the most powerful Ferrari road car at the time with the potential to out-perform many even more exclusive machines of the day. There was a 6 speed Manual Gearbox available, but most cars had the 6-speed automated manual paddle-shift transmission called F1 Super Fast which had a shift time of just 100 milli seconds. In addition, the 599 saw the debut of Ferrari's new Traction Control system F1-Trac and a much lighter and stiffer aluminium chassis for the first time in a Ferrari GT car, as opposed to the tubular steel chassis used in its predecessors.
Performance claimed by Ferrari at launch was 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds, 0-124 mph in 11.0 seconds and a top speed of over 205 mph.
This beautiful left-hand drive Ferrari 599 GTB F1 Fiorano was supplied new on 9th October 2006 to its first owner through Official Ferrari Dealer, Kuwait Automobile & Trading Co and registered in Kuwait. It is finished in Rosso Corsa with a Tan leather interior and the cabin benefits from having the carbon interior package, Daytona-style Seats and a Bose Sound System with iPod kit.
Whilst in Kuwait, the car was serviced by the Ferrari Main Dealer and it had a new Clutch @ 32,600 miles. Since arrival in the UK it has been serviced 3 times by Ferrari specialist MDL Specialist Cars in Telford, Shropshire with the last service in December 2018 @ 66,764 Kms (41,486 miles) and all services are recorded in the service book. It comes with its original Ferrari leather wallet, all manuals, original service book, invoices, Ferrari Battery Conditioner and original Ferrari Tool Roll.
The car has only had 2 owners from new with one owner in Kuwait and one here in the UK and It has now covered 67,100 kms (41,700 miles) from new, but only 400 kms since its last service.
Upon sale the car will come with a new MOT, lubrication Service and our own 55 point PDi checkover and an enhanced Warranty can be purchased at additional cost if required.
