Alfa Romeo 2000 Berlina 1973 (M) Blue
The Alfa Romeo 1750 and 2000 Berlina's (both 105 series) were executive 4 seater saloon cars produced by Alfa Romeo between 1968 and 1977.
Berlina is the Italian for 'saloon' and both cars had Alfa Romeo's fabulous twin cam inline-four engines. The 1.8-litre 1750 Berlina was produced between 1968 and 1971 and then phased out in favour of the improved 2.0 litre Berlina which continued in production until 1977. The 2 litre Berlina Twin Cam produced 130 bhp, a top speed of 124 mph and 0-62 mph in 9 seconds and was made famous due to its popularity with the Mafia!
This lovely example has just arrived at our showrooms and although it is a LHD car it was actually supplied new in the UK and was first registered on 15th November 1973.
It has its original 2.0 Litre Twin cam Engine and 5 Speed Gearbox and sits on a new set of 14" Steel Wheels with new Tyres and it retains its original interior features + a new wooden Steering Wheel.
It has just been repainted to a very high standard with a new fully retrimmed interior and is in exceptional condition throughout.
Unfortunately the whole service history folder has been lost, but we know from a HPi check that it has only had 4 former keepers from new with the current owner having purchased the car in April 2010. In addition, we know that the current mileage of 64,000 is original and confirmed by the National Mileage Register and it is HPi clear on all registers. Its last MOT was on 5th August 2016 and there are no advisories mentioned.
This is a superb example in lovely condition throughout and it drives beautifully. Upon sale it will be given a pre-sales service and come with our own 6 month Mechanical Warranty.
